The Animals
We love our animals – every dog, cat, horse, sheep, goat, pig, guinea pig and… why not take a look for yourself?
Malachi
Sadly our very handsome, gentle giant Malachi is no longer with us. Over the years Malachi has become a much loved addition to the farm since he came to us in 2005. In his time here he has been visited by lots of school children and pulled a cart for disabled children to ride in. We would like to thank all our Animal Adopters who have adopted him over the years.
Rolo & Polo
Rolo and Polo are our two Shetland ponies. As ponies go, they’re tiny, in fact, you’ve probably seen bigger dogs. They love being brushed (or ‘groomed’), having their manes plaited and snacking on crunchy apples and carrots.
Murphy
Murphy is a Kune Kune Pig, he has long hair and loves human company. He really really likes having his tummy tickled and knows when it is tea time as he makes lots of noise to make sure we don't forget!
Rodney
Rodney is a real character- and it's true what they say about goats they will eat anything...so watch your coats. Rodney likes been outside except when its raining!
Chip
Chip our pygmy goat was kindly donated by Napoleons Casino, Leeds. Pygmy means very small, so he's a little bit special and really cute as well. He came to live at Lineham Farm in January 2008 and loves his new home.Hens
Our hens roam around laying their eggs in all sorts of strange places. Collecting them is like a treasure hunt every day. They each lay one egg daily, so altogether that’s 30 eggs a day. That’s a lot of omelette.
Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Jenson, Lewis and William
These are our very cute guinea pigs. They love been cuddled and live in our new stable block where its safe and warm.
Sheep
We’ve got more than just ordinary, every-day sheep on our Farm – we’ve also got rare-breeds such as Welsh Balwens, Herdwick and white-faced woodlands. They stare a lot. We just stare back. Keep an eye out for our special sheep called Alfie who was hand reared in 2010.
Jack and Joe
Even though Jack and Joe the cats roam where they like, they don’t bother any of the animals – not even the hens. They’re very evolved, our Jack and Joe.
