Is an all inclusive wedding venue right for you?
We know how overwhelming wedding planning can be. There are so many aspects of the big day to think about, from choosing the perfect ceremony and reception venues to finishing touches like flowers and table decorations. It’s no surprise that more and more couples are becoming interested in the idea of ‘all inclusive’ wedding venues – spaces where multiple aspects of the day are taken care of, taking some of those often-difficult decisions off your plate.
What is an all inclusive wedding venue?
An all inclusive wedding venue is a great way to streamline your wedding planning process. For different venues, ‘all inclusive’ can mean different things, but by definition, it means that many essentials are included in the overall price.
At Lineham Farm, ‘all inclusive’ means you get exclusive use of the entire venue, accommodation and kitchen facilities from 3pm on Friday until midday Sunday. It’s a stress-free way to tick off your ceremony location, reception do, and guests’ overnight accommodation all at once. We’re licenced for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, which means you can have your legal marriage here.
Some all inclusive wedding venues also offer food and drinks packages, decor packages, and entertainment packages as standard, so you really don’t have to do a thing! At Lineham Farm, we pride ourselves on giving you the freedom to select those all-important aspects yourself. We’re always here to help out though. We work closely with a number of recommended local suppliers who we’re more than happy to put you in touch with. We also have décor available to hire, including tables, tablecloths, chairs, fairy lighting and bunting, perfect for if you’d rather not worry about the little details. And, although you have the venue completely to yourself, there’ll also be a Lineham Farm staff member on hand to help out if needed, so you know you’re always in good hands.
What do most wedding packages include?
This varies massively from venue to venue, so we’d always recommend reaching out to the venues you have in mind to clarify exactly what you get included in the overall price. Here are some of the things that can be included in a traditional all inclusive wedding venue package:
- Venue hire fee (ceremony and reception)
- Overnight stay for part or all of the wedding party
- Furniture including tables and chairs
- Decorations like lights, bunting and linens
- Drinks package
- Catering
- Flowers
- Photographer and videographer package
Don’t forget that many wedding packages can be tweaked and customised too. If you have an ideal package in mind, we’d always recommend chatting to the wedding coordinator at your chosen venue to see exactly what your options are.

Are all inclusive wedding venues worth it?
Many couples find themselves asking the question, “are all inclusive wedding venues worth it?” There’s not a straightforward answer to this question, as it varies so much from couple to couple.
If you’re looking for a no-fuss, easy-to-plan wedding and you’re not hugely bothered about personalisation, a traditional all inclusive wedding package could be a perfect solution for you. You pay one set price and in return, get everything you need for your dream day – from venue hire to décor, and often food and drink packages too. It’s ideal for no-fuss couples who’d rather leave the planning to someone else and in return, get a beautiful wedding with everything taken care of.
There are some downsides to the fully all inclusive approach, however. Many all inclusive wedding packages are created to appeal to as many people as possible, so you should expect very traditional food and décor. If you’re the kind of couple who fancies a taco truck or quirky décor on your big day, a venue that offers more personalisation options might be a better choice for you.

Create your dream wedding
At Lineham Farm, our wedding package is inclusive of venue hire for the whole weekend – exclusive to you and your guests. That includes multiple beautiful wedding spaces, like the barn and the woodland, as well as full access to professional kitchen and dining facilities, and overnight accommodation for 50 people including the wedding suite.
We know it makes things easier to have the ceremony and reception in one venue, and the option to have your guests stay over on your wedding evening means you can dance the night away without a care in the world – all for one all inclusive price.
We also know how important it is to many couples that they can get hands-on and put their own stamp on their day. That’s why we offer a blank canvas wedding venue that you can get creative with and make completely your own. We have a selection of fantastic, tried-and-tested suppliers we can recommend as a starting point, but ultimately the choice is yours. Whether you envisage a festival-style full weekend party or a refined affair with a chef-prepared menu, at Lineham Farm you’re free to bring your vision to life.
